Pick a provider
Hermes supports 20+: OpenRouter, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Ollama, DeepSeek, HuggingFace. OpenRouter is the simplest on-ramp.
Configure
Run hermes model to launch the model wizard. Paste your API key, pick a default model, done.
Test
Back in the chat: ask the classic probe "Which is bigger, 9.8 or 9.11?" — a working setup will answer 9.8.
Switch on the fly
Inside a chat, use the /model slash command to hop between providers you've already configured.
